    Yew chung for western child

We are English speaking only parents with a 1 year old. We are thinking of either putting him in yew chung or australian intl school (he has a passport).

Does anyone have any experience/info on what yew chung is like for a kid from a western, English speaking family? Can they fit in or are they always on the outside?

Sorry I haven't been back to this forum for a while so this reply may be a bit late in coming. YCIS has very few western faces and the way they set up the kindergarten language system is catered for locals as well (using English & Cantonese instead of English & Mandarin). However once they starts P1 onwards the system gears slowly towards the usual English/Mando system.

It is a great school though as you probably know, especially the early education section. Kindie & primary are great, high school however is not as strong as some other IS in Hong Kong.
