International Kindergarten & affordable housing near by

    Good day!

Please give me some options where an international kindergarten located in or near by a affordable housing complex.( say 1000 sqft for 23 to 28 K) mainly in Hong kong island or Kowloon area.

one such option looks like Hung Hom area. Anfield International Kindergarten at Laguna Verde. Also Deborah Intl Kindy at Whampoa.

We feel this combination is a right fit for my child who wants to spend solid time outside home say play gound or walking around, outside activities. For 3+ yrs , if school is in a walking distance, it helps a lot for regular attendance.

    Thank you so much!

Hello, are you moving to HK or you already live here?

    Hello,
I have a son and I work full time.
My solution to the dilemma is:
I live in Olympic Station Area (there are many buildings there with kind of affordable rents, facilities and good environment).
My son goes to Funful Kindergarten in Kowloon Tong and he takes the school bus everyday.
The school fees are afordable (for all programs local and international), not too far from our home, and the school is a good program with PYP certification and a good Chinese program.

It is important to first call all kindergartens in HK to find a place and then decide the housing because Kindergartens in HK are always full and usually is hard to get admision to your first option.

    Regards,

Have you looked at Kennedy Town? Rents are not as high and have seen 2 international kindergartens. Sun Island and Witty International Kindergarten.

If you don't mind your son taking a school bus, you could look at YMCA International Kindy in TST. The bus ride from Hung Hom is quite short.

    Good day!

Thanks so much to all three of you for your suggestions. it is so kind of you to spend time to answer.

i will give a serious thought to your suggestions. Yes. My first preference is not to send him by school bus but to stay near by (during bad weathers, it would be challenging , if we have to walk for a long distance)

Any more suggestions? Pls go ahead. Your answer might help many other moms too.

    thanks!
