Hi, I am 15 years old, turning 16 in August, and am looking for a school to go to this year. I am moving to HK in approximately 20 days from today and am losing hope for my education. My family is in a very tight spot for money right now. Educational fees amount to a maximum of $100,000 HK. My parent's have told me to look into public schools as these are much cheaper or even free. I do not want to go to a public school because of all the bad things I've heard about them, pressure, strictness, over worked. I don't want to be stressed out at school. I want to learn and have friends, a social life, but not study for 5 extra hours doing home work after school.
I need to find a secondary school, that is an English medium, below $100,000 HK to go to school to. I will be moving in to the New Territories if that helps. I have looked into many different schools but I wanted to get someones opinion and help on this matter.
Schools I'm considering:
- Kiangsu and scheking college
- Japanese international school
- Hong Kong Adventist academy
- Chinese foundations school
If you have any recommendations, advice or anything that may help please do comment! Thank you!
