Our 6 year old son would like to join a Faust Holiday Programme because he wants to be a juggler when he grows up. He believes that there's space on stage for all sorts, and is desperate to figure out how it all works. Extremely lively and utterly crazy at home -in school or at a class he's quiet, intense and a perfectionist. So if there's space, please let our whirling dervish in - you won't be disappointed!

Why my 9 year old should attend the Faust camp

This past August, our very first week living here in Hong Kong, I was traveling in a taxi with my 9 year old past the HK Academy of Performing Arts in Wan Chai. My son, who plays piano, sings in the choir and attended some theater classes in the US, was struck by the vastness of the building and asked me what happened there. When I described how it was a special place where talented actors, musicians, and other artists performed on stage in front of thousands of people, he turned, looked at me and responded, in earnest, "I am going to perform on that stage one day." "Yes", I told him, "You very well may."

Hello I thought I'd already written in here, but now I dont see my post, so I'm going to try again Sorry if I've doubled up.

My daughter's friend has attended Faust and loved it. We're very interested to try it out. I think it's a great opportunity for my daughter to experience the excitement and fun of live theatre first hand, while at the same time enjoying the benefits of some proper drama classes. Thanks for having this competition!

yes yes, why is my message disappeared????

Well, my 5 year old boy enjoys watching all the faust shows like Stick Man, Room on the Broom and the Gruffallo..... and he even made his own props when he got home. He made some stick men with brown paper and sticky tape and imitated the actor in the show.

He enjoys dancing on stage and has nearly three years experience in it. Moreover, he loves acting now. I believe he can be more confident and even more self disciplined through the drama training!! We really hope that he can have the chance to join your course, thanks!!!
