    Western Hair Salon (for children)

My 8 yr old daughter is in desperate need of a haircut. (she's beginning to look a bit like Cousin It)

I can't take her to the local places, cause they don't know how to cut western hair, (there have been several attempts, all gigantic failures) and I'd rather not spend the $700 that I spend to get my hair cut at Phillip George. Any suggestions for less-expensive salons that can handle expat hair? (Central/ Causeway Bay area please)

    Thanks!

There's a local stylist that quite a few of us have tried and like. He's in Causeway Bay and is very reasonable. His name is Cairy, and you can read about him here:

We've all been pleased with his cutting skills.

    hair cut

The madarin oriental cuts kids hair for HKD$250.00. Pls call n check if they charge the same price for your 8 years old.

There is also a hairdresser who cut kiddies hair and he comes to your home. His name is Johnny but I have to get the number from my friend if you are interested.

    Cheers

You could also try Magic Mirror in Lee Garden at Causeway Bay. It is around $300 but never had a problem with getting my kids hair cut there.
They deal with a lot of kids both ex-pat and local. They will also wash and blowdry the hair included in that price if your child is willing. My daughter loves to get her hair washed 'at the salon'.

Good Luck! We know how hard it is to find a place to do a decent haircut.
