    Twelve HK students Ace IB Exam

    109 students achieved a perfect score on the IB Exam, and 12 of those students were in Hong Kong.

    9 ESF Students, 1 Diocesan Boys' School student, 1 Creative Secondary School student and 1 student from Victoria Shanghai Academy.

    IB is widely recognized as one of the most difficult pre-college exam formats, but so far HK students have taken the IB system in stride.

    The SCMP reports that 96.8 per cent of 783 ESF students received the IB diploma this year.

    What are the average scores across the world? Do they have average scores per school?

    IB Diploma Programme 2012 Results Released

    Much higher than world average (78%). Usually schools post results on their website.

    CSS Results:

    A. IB Diploma

    Of the 58 students who took the IB Diploma examinations:

    1 scored the maximum possible 45 points
    5 scored 40 or more points
    18 scored 35 or more points
    41 scored 30 or more points

    The world average score of all IB Diploma students this summer was 29.8 points; the CSS average score was 32 points. The cohort achieved 36 "7"s, 7 being the highest possible score for an IB Diploma subject.
