    Feedback on American International School

It appears AISHK had some bad reviews in the past. Can someone please provide some up-to-date comments about the school?

    Thanks.

Sorry, I have mistaken the two schools. I am referring to American International School, which is AIS. and not Australian International School, which is AISHK.

Yeah, I am referring American International School AIS based on your title. My neighbours kids with different grades in AIS generally are polite, smart and cheerful. They all like to go to school.

    English accents and accerelation

Do the teachers speak American English at AIS? Is it possible for gifted students to skip grades like in the US?

Do you know if it is hard to get into AIS primary 1 next year? They require my daughter to come for a test but we are in Boston so it is too tedious to fly to Hong Kong just for the test. I wonder if we wait until July, there is still any spot in primary 1.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much!

Most teachers are American and some from Europe, they teach in American English. I am not sure some grades can be skipped and better check with the school directly.

Quite lots of students applied for AIS kindergarten and grade 1 last year. Better check any other way or other time slot to do the test so as to keep the chance.

If you are interested, I suggest that you connect its admission office directly.

    Good luck.

Thank you very much for your reply! Is there any after-school program and full-day summer camp at the school?

Yes, they do have lots of extra-curriculum activities. But students already take full day class in elementary, too tough to join after school program as small kids?
