joannek ~ When I was at MPS, it was called Maryknoll too. It changed name when I left the school. Maybe we were even classmates!

    local / international?

mintycat... same here. Our boy is just 9.5 months and we are already struggling about whether we should go local / international. Hubby grew up in manila and I went to a convent school so our boy would have no extra points. International school would be an option. But it is so costly! and even if we want to go intl, with our background as local chinese, it would be hard to get accepted.

I heard that both Maryknoll Primary and St. Mary's are good local girls schools in HK. However, girls need to have sufficient Chinese ability (at least writing and reading) to get in I guess.
