    Hi Kris,
I can recommend you that school as my nephews are studying there.
School fee is affordable but they don't have services everywhere.
So you should choose location to live which is near by Tsuen Wan West area or near by KCR WEST rail station.

Thanks once again for the information. Is there any other additional fees to be paid per month?
Sorry for asking too much information.

If my office is at Wan Chai ? Where do you recommend me to stay so that I can utilize the services of school & my office ?

Please recommend some place that is convenient to travel to both places.

    Preferences

There are two convinient place (depends on your budget)
Riviera Garden(opposite the school-and there is shuttle bus under the estate which goes to Wan Chai)

Tsuen Wan Property Search | Tsuen Wan Residential Listings | GoHome

Also Chelsea Court (walk around 10 minutes to school and that shuttle bus to Wan Chai)
Standard of Chelsea court is bit higher. You decide which one you prefer.

    Hello Kris

Better you find other school if you willing to spent 5K per month. Also, every year you need to pay 7000 HKD as a registration fees it’s not 3,500HKD now. below is the brief about Rosebud:

ROSEBUD is little known school in HK.

School structure is ok and less homework, cover good curriculum But lot has changed since the new principal came in.
They advertise small class structure, but it's not the case now. In 2014, its only 11 students graduated from school. Now they increased the class size to 21 students-one teacher, so less attention & care. There is always teachers leaving school.

In 2013-2014 academic year alone four teachers left school after the new principal came in...its Alarming!!!!. So they can't keep track of students performance and it's hard to have proper communication with teachers(they come and go), its take time for new teachers to get used to the system and it’s too late for students. Recently lot of parents angry after these new teachers changed term exam schedule due to lack of proper communication among them in the last minute.

They advertise as affordable fees, but the school fee for 2014-2015 is 5000 HKD. It's too high for school like this. In addition to that they increased fees 10% for existing students. Many parents opposed to this seeing the quality is and individual attention is decreased. Few students left school.

They call it a Rosebud family...its feel like more of any other local schools in HK not much of that secure feeling.
There is no native English teacher in the school now.
They had few, but they all left school since the new principal came in.

No way you can communicate with principal, he never smile at parents.
Take it or leave it's the only way he speaks.

    Thx

    Hi Jack,

Thanks for the feedback. Other than ESF , can you please suggest any other primary schools in Kwaloon district that offers affordable education ?

    Hi,
I just came across your old post about potential schools.....we are also relocating from the gulf (Dubai) to HK and eyeing Delia English Primary school. Where did you end up enrolling your lil one? Was also looking at The Pacifica to live which I believe is close to a network of primary schools including Delia Mei Foo. I would be grateful for your thoughts or tips....other english schools there are sooo expensive...
    Thanks,
    Airene
