    Good luck

    Dear carms1

Can you share more me with. My girl is a marginal case of dyslexia. I ask the advice of doctor regarding the Harbour School. She doesn't suggest me as she said she only refer client with severe problem and for those cannot find a school elsewhere. However, i heard a lot comments from parents on forum. Please can you share more about the school with me?

From Anne Murphy, Education Consultant at ITS

Wednesdays are only Half Days, and they don't have the full day off.

A child with "mild dyslexia" would thrive at THS. The teachers have the talent and skills to help! Go visit and speak with Christine Greenberg, Principal

Hi, I believe your doctor maybe referring to THS' sister school (which name escapes me the moment) rather than THS itself.

THS is definitely the school to help children with dyslexia. Although it is a mainstream school it has an excellent support system put in place for children with additional needs. There are extra costs, but no different to other schools I don't think
The added advantage is that TCI is affiliated with THS, which brings a wonderful team of specialists together, giving parents access to other specialized services

We are more than happy at THS. Our one child has extra learning support through the school and has excelled. The ratio of teachers to children is also brilliant, adding to the wonders of this school. I seriously think we made the right decision when placing our children here.
Christine Greenburge is the person to speak to, she can give you all the information you need.
Send me an email if you would like to chat more
    Good luck

On Wednesdays the children have a half day, they are at school from 8.30 until 12.30. The staff have education sessions themselves every Wednesday afternoon, it works well all round I think. No whole days off for inset days throughout the year, only public holidays

    The Harbour School

[QUOTE=phoenixashburn;19054]Thank you so much for your replies, I feel much more reassured. We don't have an interview yet but keeping our fingers crossed.
How are the after-school activities for the kids? Do they have any popular programs
