I've heard that both Marymount and Diocesan are both extremely difficult to get into. Also bear in mind that both schools are all-girls school and are single sex.

My son was born in end of 2005, and I'm wondering how to increase his chances to gain entry into BHS for Year One as I've placed him in a local "english" kindergarten for K1 (but he was in all english YMCA pre-school in TST) and he's going into K2 this Sept. We are in the right school zone. Is it even possible for me to apply for admission into BHS Year One after he does his K2 (so in line with admission time into local mainstream primary school)?

Slightly off-topic, but we were told that sending a native-English speaker to an English language school with students of mixed (English/Chinese, I guess) language abilities slows the development of the native English speaker because the teachers are forced to "dumb down" their English.
I know I dumb down my English when speaking to non-native speakers, so it sort of makes sense. Up until this moment,we thought the more diverse student body would be a 100% good thing.
    Any thoughts?
