ESF School Fees 2012 -2013

ESF announced a salary increase of 4% for all staff for the school year August 2012-2013. Hence the fees for next year are as follows:

Primary - $66,100 4.92% $310
Secondary 7-11 - $98,000 3.05 % $290
Secondary 12-13 - $102,000 5.05% $490

well they will be, if the Education Bureau rubber stamps the request!

4% to be honest is not a big deal. BUT why aren't salary increases performance based at ESF?? There are some fantastic teachers at ESF who are leaving because of this. The good and the bad (yes there are plenty) are rewarded the same??

And for the many of us who are not on an expat package and havent had a salary increase this year this is another lot of money we have to find each month along with the building levy we have to pay at DC.
