ESF Bradbury and the Peak School

We are debating between ESF Bradbury and the Peak School. Is there a reason we should prefer one to another? We are renting so it's very flexible for us to move. Also, does anyone know their acceptance rate? I understand the Peak school is much smaller so does it mean it's harder to get in?

Additionally, would there be Mandarin class available as afternoon activity at the Peak School? We visited Bradbury once and we saw that they offer mandarin afternoon class. We really like the idea. Wonder if it's the same for all ESF schools.

    Appreciate your advice.

    Hannah,

Both are good schools. Peak is a smaller school, but it might be easier to get into. The Bradbury catchment has changed and they've added Aberdeen/ and Outlying Islands, which previously went to Kennedy.

All the ESF schools offer a wide range of after school activities. My niece is at Glenealy, does both Mandarin/Tennis, and Glenealy is the same size as the Peak.

Thank you for the info. Do you know how many spaces the Peak school has? I can't seem to find it on the website.

Does that mean they have 60 places for each grade? If so, it would mean that after P1, it would take someone to leave the school in order to have a vacancy for new student?

Yes, that sounds right. But don't let that discourage you. HK is such a transient place, there are Expats leaving all the time.
