About Kennedy School

Hi, am looking for some info re. Kennedy. We're going to have a Y1'r there this Aug.

Anyone know the approx (or current) school buss fee from say Park Rd Midlevels to KS?

Can anyone tell me around how long do the kids get for lunch and do the teachers generally ask the kids to finish their lunch or at least most of it before they get any free / play time?

What's the current timetable i.e. what time does school start and end?

Thanks parents. I know all this will be discussed on the Familiarisation Day but just want to get a heads up . . .

Park Rd is a long route.

I think the lunch break is quite short. Around 20-30 mins. Will have to check D's diary again. The teachers do keep an eye on the kids, and will check they've eaten enough before they head down to play.

School starts at 8:30 and ends at 3pm. As its a long day for the little ones, they recommend you don't enroll in any after school activities for the first term.

thanks! Am excited and yet worried about Year 1! That's why all the questions. My daughter is such a slow eater - i figure i'll give her more of a snacky type lunch and feed her more once she gets home! Doesn't look like she'll have enough time!

I had a slow eater too, but he started eating faster as he wanted to go play. So she may just surprise you.
