DSS schools good or bad choice to international school

I have a 7yo dd and we are moving to HK in april. My first choice was to look for Int'l schools as I did'nt want to jeopardise her english skills which are quite good for now.

But I would also prefer if she picks up some mandarin/cantonese at school. Are DSS the right choice?

    Could someone please clarify:

Is the admission to DSS similar to ESF schools?

How come there are'nt any reviews on DSS schools in this forum - does it mean that those schools are inferior to ESF or Int'l schools?

Any parents from St.Margarets coed or St. Pauls coed as these are my choices if I have to put her in one?

    Any input is highly appreciated.

DSS are mainly for locals. St Margaret is a DSS strong in English. Their students have to take Japanese and French. However, students are grouped into small study groups depend on

You might also consider some local English schools. eg TSL, CKY, Tsung Tsin Intl junior school.
